Newsday.com: NY court rules against gay marriageJudge Robert Smith said New York's marriage law clearly limits marriage to between a man and a woman and any change in the law should come from the state Legislature.I can't believe an NY court actually didn't try to take the law into their own hands. I guess I'm used to being in California too much, where the upper courts decide to make their own laws.
